Terms and Conditions for The Refined Pantry Cooking Class

Welcome to The Refined Pantry Cooking Class!

By participating in our cooking classes, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before registering or attending.

1. Participation and Assumption of Risk

•  Cooking classes at The Refined Pantry involve the use of kitchen equipment, sharp tools, heat sources, and other potentially hazardous materials. Participants acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, slips, or other injuries.

•  By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the cooking class and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor.

2. Liability Waiver

•  The Refined Pantry, its owners, employees, and affiliates (collectively “we” or “us”) will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, damages, or losses that may occur during or as a result of participating in the cooking class, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

•  This includes, but is not limited to, injuries caused by equipment use, food preparation, allergic reactions, or any other unforeseen circumstances. Participants are responsible for their own actions and safety during the class.

3. Health and Allergies

•  Participants are required to inform us in advance of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions that may affect their participation. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed needs, we are not responsible for any adverse reactions or incidents resulting from undisclosed conditions or allergies.

•  Food prepared during the class may contain allergens (e.g., nuts, dairy, gluten). Cross-contamination may occur, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

4. Registration and Payment

•  Full payment is required to secure your spot in the cooking class. Reservations are non-transferable.

•  Cancellations made at least 4 Days before the class will receive a full refund. Cancellations after this period or no-shows will not be refunded.

5. Conduct and Safety

•  Participants must follow all instructions provided by the instructor and adhere to basic kitchen safety practices.

•  We reserve the right to remove any participant from the class without refund if their behavior is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to others.

6. Personal Property

•  The Refined Pantry is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought to the class. Participants are encouraged to keep valuables secure.

7. Food Consumption

•  Participants may consume the food prepared during the class at their own risk. We are not liable for any foodborne illnesses or adverse reactions resulting from consumption.

8. Photography and Media

•  By participating, you consent to being photographed or recorded during the class for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform us in advance.

9. Changes or Cancellations by The Refined Pantry

•  We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified and offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

10. Governing Law

•  These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Louisiana.  Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with local jurisdiction.

By registering for or attending a cooking class at The Refined Pantry, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
